Simply start by choosing your Overland Camping Car, preferred Travel Dates, any Options or Extras and send a booking enquiry for a quote.

After we receive your reservation enquiry we will provide you with a full quotation with options by email within 3 business days.

At this moment the reservation is provisional.

• If you didn’t receive a reply, it might be in your emails spam / junk folder, so please also check there. If that is not the case, please contact us at bookings@overlandjapan.com

Confirm your Reservation & Payment

Lock In, Start Planning and Get Excited.

After you have received and accepted our quotation we will send you payment details by email to finalize your booking.

Please check the total amount and make your payment by local japan bank transfer (PayPay) or local/international credit card (Visa or Mastercard) within the deadline given, usually within one week.

The moment we verify that payment has been made, your reservation is officially completed.

• If the payment is not made within the deadline, your reservation is automatically cancelled
• After your reservation is confirmed, any changes or cancellations will follow our Cancellation/Refund Policy
• By making a paid reservation you agree and understand our Rental Terms & Conditions

Yay, Let’s Go!

Meet up at the agreed upon time and location. All drivers must be present with their original licenses, we will explain how to use the car and ask you to check and sign the contract. It takes about 30-40 minutes.

As part of the Insurance Coverage, a refundable vehicle security deposit needs to be paid via Visa or Mastercard at the time of departure.

After checking everything, you are now ready to start your Overland Japan adventure!

• If you are over 30 minutes late for the appointment without calling, we will cancel your reservation and charge the cancellation fee as specified. We will make an exception in the case of delayed flights.

Return at the agreed upon time and location you were assigned before departure.

• When returning, please refill the fuel within 3km and bring the receipt with you
• Please strictly adhere to the expected return time. Please contact us if there is a possibility that your return may be delayed due to traffic conditions etc
• When returning, we will check the camping car for any damage or missing items
• If you break down, incur damage or lost something etc during the rental period, please inform us as soon as possible
• If an extra cleaning/extension fee etc is incurred, additional payments will need be made at the time of return
