THE ROLE
We’re looking for camping car tour & travel enthusiasts with a passion for guest service. This is a part-time role working remotely and/or in-person in Yutenji – Tokyo. You will be the first and last customer touch-point for our company, reporting directly to the CEO, with the goal of ensuring an outstanding level of customer service, handling reservations, communicating with customers, providing excellent customer service, and assisting in administration, sales and training activities.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
- Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize booking inquiries and sales.
- Handle incoming reservations and tour planning requests, providing outstanding service to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Implement email marketing campaigns and foster community engagement among existing customers.
- Handle complaints, emergencies, and any local issue that may arise to make sure operations run smoothly,
- Collaborate in curating new travel products that resonate with our target market.
- Collaborate on initiatives in developing, upselling & cross-selling new service offerings.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- You are a nature travel enthusiast with experience in a sales or hospitality role;
- You have great communication skills, aptitude for direct contact with customers and adept at building relationships remotely,
- You thrive in a flexible startup environment, demonstrating agility and proactive problem-solving skills,
- You are comfortable with remote work and a commitment to continuous skill improvement,
- You’re fluent in Japanese and business English (mandatory),
- You’re eligible to work in Japan,
- You’re a responsible person who takes their work seriously and can be relied upon,
- You’re well-organized and you’re good at solving problems.
