We are growing our team and looking for those interested in pursuing this dream with us and joining an ever-developing journey.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>THE ROLE<\/b><\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re looking for camping car &amp; travel enthusiasts with a passion for guest service for our HQ depot in <b>Yutenji &#8211; Tokyo<\/b>. You\u2019ll be the face of our company, reporting directly to the CEO, with the goal of ensuring an outstanding level of customer service, maintaining our fleet of campervans in top condition, and taking ownership of all issues that need to be managed to guarantee smooth operation of the depot. <b><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Handle incoming reservations, welcoming guests, demonstrations and taking care of check-in and check-out procedures;<\/li>\n<li>Taking care of the fleet, logistics, and making sure our campervans are maintained in top condition by monitoring maintenance and handling repairing needs;<\/li>\n<li>Assist in training, supervising, and coaching your team;<\/li>\n<li>Booking activities control, manage stock, local suppliers and cleaning services;<\/li>\n<li>Handle complaints, emergencies, and any local issue that may arise to make sure operations run smoothly;<\/li>\n<li>Preparing and cleaning our campervans;<\/li>\n<li>Leading initiatives in developing, upselling &amp; cross-selling new service offerings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?<br \/>\n<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You are either a vehicle or nature travel enthusiast with experience in fields such as Vehicle Building, Mechanics\/Electronics, Tourism, Hospitality, Retail or Rent-a-car being desirable;<\/li>\n<li>1+ years of experience in a team management\/lead\/supervisory role;<\/li>\n<li>You\u2019re fluent in Japanese and English (mandatory);<\/li>\n<li>You have great communication skills and aptitude for direct contact with customers;<\/li>\n<li>You\u2019re eligible to work in Japan, have a valid driver&#8217;s licence and feel confident enough to drive a campervan (mandatory);<\/li>\n<li>You\u2019re available to work on weekends and public holidays;<\/li>\n<li>You\u2019re a responsible person who takes their work seriously and can be relied upon.<\/li>\n<li>You\u2019re well-organised and you\u2019re good at solving problems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>THE OVERLAND COMMITMENT!<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Being part of a young, fast-growing and innovative company where you make a difference;<\/li>\n<li>Career development opportunities in Field Operations or transitioning to a management role in new locations;<\/li>\n<li>Continuous training and coaching to develop the skills that matter to you;<\/li>\n<li>Compensation package that includes Performance and Referral Bonuses;<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Free Road Trips, so you can experience Overlanding firsthand around Japan<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ABOUT US Overland Japan, a boutique next generation camping car rental provider, is on a mission of enabling nature immersion experiences to explore unseen Japan.
